Descriptions--

Apex Schools Business Alliance-- Monthly meeting of Apex High, Lufkin Road Middle, Salem Middle, and Apex Middle Business Alliance members, principals,Career Development Coordinators (CDC), and AOIT Director.

Career Pathway Speakers -- We invite professionals to share careers with our staff and students. Contact Tonya Scott, tpscott@wcpss.net or 363-1342 to arrange a time to present on our campus.

AVID Elective speakers -- This is an elective for students enrolled in the Advancement Via Individual Determination program (6-12) to offer academic tutoring for rigorous coursework,and effective strategies to encourage these students to achieve a post-secondary degree. Contact Tonya Scott at tpscott@wcpss.net or 363-1342.

Career-sharing at lunch-- An informal time for professionals to speak with students during their lunch time. Contact Tonya Scott at tpscott@wcpss.net or 363-1342 to arrange a time to present on our campus.

Truck Fair--6th grade Career fair for professions involving vehicles.

School to Career Volunteer Celebration- Kick off for the members of the Wake County Public School Business Alliances. CPET, and BALT Council.
