It is an honor for me to serve our students here at Apex Middle School for the sixth year.

Our School has been recognized as an “Honor School of Excellence” four years in a row, I am very proud to be a part of it.

I want to congratulate our students for their hard work and their parents for stepping in to support us any chance they get.

I want to congratulate our staff for challenging our students with higher order teaching skills in order to reach their potential.

• As an Assistant principal of Apex Middle School serving our 6th graders, I believe that my focus must be to help us realize our school's designation: "Honor School of Excellence".
• This means to facilitate and empower our staff, obtain the tools they need to teach effectively and the resources they need to grow professionally in a safe learning environment.
• To provide a student-centered learning program that delivers numerous opportunities for the students to be successful and celebrate with our students when their goals are met.
• For parents and the community it means setting high standards for teaching and learning. It is our expectation that all of our students will have the skills and knowledge to be successful in high school and higher education, as well as productive citizens for our community, state, and country.
