Apex Middle School Supports Quality Tools

Please don't be alarmed if the classrooms are noisy, activity is commonplace,

people are smiling,

rows of desks and chairs are difficult to be found,

teachers are not the center of attention commanding and controlling

every aspect of each student's moments.

We've discovered a new way of learning.

Lucky you have stumbled onto a middle school campus that believes without a doubt that everyone can learn.

We have put that belief into practice by agreeing as a staff to implement Quality Tools into the very fabric of our thinking,

not only in the way we "teach the curriculum",

but in the way we "do school",

that is, in the way we interact with one another,

hold meetings, conduct workshops,

and especially in the way we teach the students.

This is part of lifestyle preparation.

Notice again we didn't say "placed it into the curriculum".

We believe that Quality Tools is best used in a systemic manner.

Come join us so everyone, AMS staff, students, and parents will be working together

as part of the system to meet a common goal, that of preparing our children to

face the future with skills they can use to be contributing members of society.
